Le Chant, the French word for “the song”, is inspired by the call of the rooster. When the rooster bursts into song, it reveals confidence, pride and determination to the world. These shared qualities, combined with South African resilience, unite our like-minded proprietors in a common expression of wine.
Le Chant embodies this enduring relationship, bringing together Old World heritage and contemporary New World character.
Between False Bay and the Le Chant vineyards lie only gently rolling hills, allowing cool sea breezes to move freely inland and shape the character of the vines.
Le Chant’s aim is always to craft wines that truly express origin, while maintaining deep respect for nature and the preservation of the land that sustains it.
